Thanksgiving 2010
Hi Family ! I wanted to send along a couple of pictures of our table ... why I didn't get any photo's of family sitting around the table, I don't know. BUT - thought you would like to see Grandmother Bayless' china being used for a family dinner again. It gave those of us who were able to see / use it some nice reminders of when we were ALL together at Grandmother & Grandfather Bayless' for holiday dinners. Would love to have another one of those dinners some day - any time you can all make it, let me know. I'll set the table, make the food, and be so thankful to have you here. Happy Belated Thanksgiving & Many Wishes for Blessings this Holiday Season!

Halloween 2010 with the Grandkids Halloween 21010 at the Ranch was fun. Mira knocked on our truck camper door. Grandpa (yep-that's Rob!) said, "Wow, what a great unicorn." Mira said, "No, I'm not a unicorn. I'm a unicorn disquised as a pegasus." !?!?! Cian was an "aroarable" lion. Does anyone remember Rob wearing a t-shirt as a little boy that said, "I'm aroarable"? Just so you know, he still is!

European Vacation!

Nathan, Randy, and Haley Horner (Evan's girlfriend) got to spend 10 days with Evan in Spain and France during mid-October. After enjoying a few days of Spanish life in Segovia, the city where Evan is currently studying, the troupe ventured to Madrid, Paris, and Barcelona. Many of the local foods were sampled and enjoyed, including paella, roast suckling pig, escargot, ponche, churros, and sangria. We checked out the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Cathedral Notre Dame (in Paris), the Gaudi works and Las Ramblas (in Barcelona), and futbol and bullfights (in Madrid). It was an amazing adventure with an excellent tour guide! [The photo is from Barceloneta Beach on the Mediterranean.]
Bayless Men in Canada

Sorry so tardy getting this posted. Uncle Thomas led a fearless expedition of Bayless men, including Robert, Randy and Evan into the Canadian wilderness for 8 days and nights in late August. Our first cabin was 200 miles north of Nestor Falls, Ontario via bush plane. The cabin was great but the weather was fearsome - 50s, windy and rainy. Uncle Thom apparently witnessed snowflakes at one point. The fishing began tough but by the end of our fourth day we had boated some nice pike - 36, 40 and 53 inches, and more walleye than we could eat. We flew south to a second lake and milder weather where we caught smallmouth bass and one nice muskie. Our fish were so impressive that the Nestor Falls outfitters published our photos in their blog. Robert and Evan regaled us with guitar tunes most evenings, and there were lots of laughs around the euchre table. Doubtless there will be another one of these trips in the future, so stay tuned!

Kristin and Friend

I am posting this picture with the hope that Kristin does not mind. I think it is soooo adorable - and thought the family might like to see it. This is from her trip (in October?) - Kris please clarify. I know the picture was taken at Anthony's Key in the Honduras... but you were on a cruise with multiple stops, correct?
